[JWM] menu background left over and became new window

Using v1.8rc2

I accidently moved my mouse when using the mouse scroll wheel in firefox 
to the jwm background. This switched my workspace.

Somehow I pressed the menu button on my taskbar.

Then I scrolled again. I think.

Anyways, the grey background of my menu stayed on the screen covering up 
my other windows near it.

The menu itself was gone, just some leftover noise from the previous menu.

I opened a new window and when it closed the old menu background was still 
there.

So I clicked "restart". 

jwm restarted.

Now that old menu background (which was a rectangle), gained window 
decorations!

So I clicked "X" on its title bar and received a prompt about killing it. 
I okayed that. And then all of jwm closed.

Luckily, I had an xterm started next. So I restarted jwm. And back to 
work.... the strange window was now gone.

And I don't know how to recreate it.
