[JWM] JWM Volume Control?

G'day,
Is there any chance of having a "volume control" tray component added to JWM?

I was looking through the LxPanel code, thinking maybe a standalone  
applet could be created from its volume plugin, when it occurred to me  
it might be simpler to just add it as one of the built-in JWM modules.

The LxPanel volume plugin code consists of two files:
- volume-impl.c (approx. 6k): seems like the code for a "generic"  
volume control window.
- volume.c (approx. 3k): creates the plugin itself (using the LxPanel  
plugin API).

I don't know C, so can't try this myself, but was wondering if anyone  
else here might be up to it...
